Meet the STEP Team

Ross Gardner, Non Executive Trustee, Chair of Trustees

Global Head of Technology for the Investor Services and Insurance Businesses and Head of Technology for Europe for the Royal Bank of Canada. Ross is responsible for running all of the systems to support the businesses and defining the global strategic direction for the Technology organization (1200+ employees). Ross has been with RBC since 2011.

Ross joined the Board of Trustees in March 2015 and has previously provided valuable advice by serving as Chair of the STEP Finance & Operations Committee and Vice Chair of Trustees.

Ross has been appointed Chair of Trustees with effect from 1 September 2023.
