The year 5 reading list is really interesting, and I loved how we were able to relate the books back to our History, Geography and RE lessons.
"I particularly remember reading 'The Journey to the River Sea', set in The Amazon, which helped me to better understand our Geography topic of South America. Our Year 5s are lively and enthusiastic – they have all applied to be a playground buddy and are doing a great job out on the playground! I am also really proud that I have been voted as Pupil Prime Minister for the school, and am enjoying our Pupil Parliament Meetings and making positive changes within the school."
I am really proud to represent Year 6 because they are the year that create their final memories at Benedict, and have a lot more responsibility around the school.
"I am also thrilled that I have been voted Deputy Pupil Prime Minister this year! I know that all of my classmates will continue to work really hard this year and will reap the rewards in the Summer Term. We all are avid performers too - and enjoyed our Shakespeare workshops last year. We can’t wait to perform our final production, and to start to get ready for the next chapter: Secondary School!"
