Peter Lilford, Non-Executive Trustee

Peter brings significant experience in managing public funds and reforming public service delivery. Peter currently works at HM Treasury, where he is a senior adviser on local government funding. He has previously worked in the Delivery Unit of the Department for Education, where he led reviews of education and childcare reforms for the Secretary of State. He has also spent several years in East Africa, where he advised the governments of Kenya and South Sudan on strengthening local service delivery and accountability. Peter is vice-chair of governors for a local authority maintained primary school. He holds an MEng from Oxford University, and an MSc from LSE, and is currently studying for an accountancy qualification (CIMA).
