Chris Stevens, Non-Executive Trustee

Finance and Operations Committee Member

Chris Stevens is the founder and Director of CJS Defence Ltd, a law firm specialising in criminal defence and representing clients facing extradition.  Chris was a governor on the La Fontaine Academy Committee in Bromley between 2014 - 2023.  For the last 5 years he was Chair of Governors.  Chris also sat on the academy committees at other STEP schools  (Heathfield, David Livingstone and Angel Oak).  Chris will bring his experience of working at the local governance level to the Board and is excited about continuing the Mission of the Trust in his new role.  Chris has two children who attended La Fontaine Academy and in his spare time enjoys cricket, running and cycling.
